2018 Ford Mustang
When you think of performance and power, you think of a Mustang. From one of the oldest Mustangs; the 1965 Fastback to the 2015 Mustang, Ford have had an emphasis in ensuring one of their biggest brands has raw power. This is quite evident in the new and improved 2018 Ford Mustang. It looks gorgeous with some saying it looks more like a road shark, designed to tackle the asphalt with its sheer might and torque from the new V8 engine, an upgrade from the formerly V6. It has an elegant and sleek design with a 2 door system. Just like its younger brother, it gives you the option of getting the EcoBoost or the V8 5.0 L petrol-head.
2018 Ford Mustang Interior
The car interior seems to have a classy finish with cool features like an optional heated steering-wheel. The best part of the interior is that Ford have left the decision in your hands. You are able to customize the instrument panel with four finishes — Engine Spun, Angled Brush, Silver Arrow and Linked Graphite. This is also backed by a Carbon Fiber interior to enhance your custom look with an additional customizable digital gauge. The interior also has a classic fit of fine leather creating a luxurious feel. The manual gear shift is also smoothly and excellently covered in leather ensuring it’s a new experience every time you shift gears.
2018 Ford Mustang Engine
The V8 has been given two more cylinders. With it rumored to have 455 horsepower, which is 20 more than its predecessor. One major change is it comes with an option of either automatic/manual transmission — unlike before when it only had manual transmission. The GT offers a 10 speed automatic transmission that is paddle shifted just like the EcoBoost. Other fun facts on its performance is that it offers a grid-line lock.
2018 Ford Mustang Exterior
The vehicle exterior is also bundled with customizable cool features. From first vie, you can identify it has a lowered hood — 20mm lower than the previous 2017 model, offering quite an athletic look. You can also have the active valve exhaust system which offers different sounds which the V8 engine bellows. The 2018 Ford Mustang will also have forward and rear LED lights. There will also be 12 wheel designs, just to offer a sense of variety while prospective buyers will have to decide on three different colors. The GT and EcoBoost also have dual exhaust systems. The mustang is a creation of both muscle and technology, bundled together to bring out the best in each other. This means that the only thing Ford are competing with is time.
2018 Ford Mustang Price and Gas Mileage
The 2018 Ford Mustang is rumored to be going on sale this fall and prices of the EcoBoost are believed to start at $27,095, while the GT will go for $34,095. With limited information on gas consumption per mileage, one can expect it to slightly reduce as compared to the previous model (17 mpg) due to the up-sizing of the new engine, which might lead to increased fuel consumption by the car. The 2018 Ford Mustang will not come with a factory-installed towing equipment, and it may only be possible with after market adjustments and upgrades.
