2018 Cadillac CTS
First, we all can’t help but notice that the 2018 Cadillac CTS marketing team has introduced the 2018 CTS as a luxury sports sedan. In fact, when you look at the car’s cockpit you will notice some changes, such as the addition of aluminum race type pedals by Cadillac engineers to make the car look and feel sporty.
Some of the other changes Cadillac have included in the CTS are improved engine performance and reduction in weight. In the new CTS series, Cadillac has substituted most materials with aluminum and carbon fiber — resulting in a lighter and a faster luxury sedan. The reduction in weight is, according to some rumors, about 100 pounds.
Cadillac has improved both the exterior and interior to create a sporty body and add elegance to the new CTS series.
2018 Cadillac CTS Interior
The 2018 Cadillac CTS will be the third generation in the CTS series. Its predecessors have a luxury interior, and according to sources, there will not be many changes to the car’s interior. Some of the changes to the car’s interior include new Recaro Sports Seats for a more comfy driving experience, updated tech and features such as navigation systems, improved audio system, mobile phone integration, Android connectivity Apple Auto Car and a few others. Additional safety features in line with the sports bias of the new CTS are to be included in the new CTS. The car is a five-seater with the same interior color options as its 2017 Cadillac CTS predecessor.
2018 Cadillac CTS Engine
The 2018 Cadillac CTS will be available in a variety of engine options. These options include a direct injection 3.6 Litre V6 engine with a 311 Horsepower. The car comes with 38.2 MKG of torque and a six-speed automatic transmission. Other engine options include a 4-cylinder, 270 Horsepower engine, a 377 Horsepower, and a 425 Horsepower V6 engine. In matters of fuel economy, the CTS is expected to consume fuel at a rate of approximately 17-22 MPG in City and about 32 MPG cruising on the highway. There is no information indicating which options from 4WD, FWD, RWD and AWD are available for this particular car model of the Cadillac CTS series.
2018 Cadillac CTS Exterior
The car should have a more aggressive looking front courtesy of a new and unique grille. The rear has an aerodynamic curvature with vertical tail lights which make the vehicle look less wide. It also has bigger wheels from Michelin Tyres and brakes from Brembo. The overall design looks sporty and elegant. One can tell that the car has a luxury tone and a sports feel. So far, the only known colors available for the 2018 CTS are jet black and pearl white.
2018 Cadillac CTS Price and Gas Mileage
The vehicle will be officially released between mid, and late 2017 and the normal price for the new Cadillac CTS sports luxury sedan is estimated at $46,000. The car is quiet in the city driving mod, and it consumes one gallon for every 17-22 miles depending on the terrain. Driving the CTS on the highway results in the consumption dropping to one gallon for every 32 miles.
